Tree Runners are a species of prehistoric primate-like animals. In Darkwing, the Tree Runners trick Dusk's colony into eating berries that drugged them into sleeping in order to feed them to Diatryma in exchange for the Diatryama's protection. However, Dusk saw through this and saved most of his colony.
