Lucretia is an elder of the Silverwing colony. She is introduced early in Silverwing alongside the other three female elders, Frieda, Bathsheba, and Aurora, when Shade and his mother Ariel are summoned by the Elders after Shade glimpses the sun.
Lucretia has a very minor role in the series, making her only other appearance at the end of the first novel when Shade tells his story to the rest of the colony. She became chief elder of the Silverwing colony in Firewing, replacing Frieda after her death. Lucretia tells Shade not to enter the Underworld after Griffin is accidentally pulled in, but Shade characteristically disobeys.
